Community Boating Center (CBC) has announced that it will celebrate ten years on the Providence waterfront with an Opening Day, Saturday, May 29, 2004 at the Harry Carr Memorial Boathouse at Providence's India Point Park.

Open to the general public, the waterfront party will run from Noon to 4 PM with food, fun, free sailing, and more. There is a $5.00 suggested donation at the door with all proceeds benefiting CBC youth sailing. Details are available at www.communityboating.com.

Peter Gengler, President of CBC commented, “Community Boating Center invites both sailors and non-sailors to kick off our tenth season with friends, family, and CBC members for a day of family fun on the Providence waterfront.”

Located in India Point Park, CBC provides outreach, sailing lessons and affordable access to the Providence waterfront.
